We purchased this tv back in Dec. But here it is feb and were finally getting it hooked up. The first 1/2 hr. after hooking the tv up it started to black out for a few seconds then come back on. I thought it was the sleep timer so I messed with it for a few mins. and it stopped. Seemed to work just fine the 2nd day but by the time the 3rd day came it started blacking out again. Then later on that night it started to make a crackling noise and lines started to run through the picture. Not sure what the heck is going on with. Called the Sharp Corp. for assistance and they were very polite and helpful. Suppose to send someone out to take a look at it. Sure hope they can repair whatever is wrong with it considering we have only had it up and running for 3 whole days.
