It does at least twice the load of normal washers, and uses so little water. I don't know how it gets the clothes so clean but it does, Super quiet, and cuts drying in half or better. Only one drawback the washer door is either open all the way, or you have to close it. With front loaders, you want them to air dry, so I put a laundry basket of the door to keep it only partially open.
