This is an excellant & certainly better than some of the Nikkor lens near by to this range.I have the introductroy 50MM F / 1.8 lens but this one is much better & sharp, crisp & accurate lens without any doubt. It is also bright & shooting in the dark made simple.The body is too brittle to be casual or a little careless. I wish that Nikon should replace the Egg Shell to Turtle shell.Over all it is a fantastic lens especially for Portrait & Landscape.
