A Bit Expensive but Good Nevertheless

The Nikon Super Coolscan 9000 iswell-built but a little pricey. The scanning is of a high quality and resolution and it has plenty of control features. There is a choice between auto and manual focus that I really like and the fact that it has multi-format capability is also great. The scanning process of the Super Coolscan 9000,compared to others in its segment, is relatively fast. It has some drawbacks though. For example, the clip on the film carriers is flimsy and the expensive extras can be a pain. I did have problems with the Newton Rings at times while scanning with the glassholder. My friend, who has the same model, had the same problem, too.
