I upgraded a system that had only 256MB Ram to this 1GB stick. System runs much faster (no surprise) and user is very happy not having to wait 20-30 minutes for the machine to boot.Caution: I nabbed a stick at a great price, and before I could re-order more, the price had gone up. I did my research and when I went back to order (online), the memory price had more than doubled.
