I had one of these, and the machine did pop the corn, as promised. At the time I bought it, the old fashion on the counter use oil type poppers had gone off the market, so I got this. Well, I used it twice. Without the butter, and however other unlimited options you can add to the corn, it's nowhere. I gave mine away. I got another type popper 4 years ago. It uses the microwave, and works great, but now that the on the counter poppers are back on the market, I'm definitely buying another one. Long live popcorn!!
