I just got this printer in last week. so far it seems to print very well and the roll labels go in very well. seems to be a bullet proof design. am planning to print on circle labels. but haven't got them in yet. warning. the software that comes with it, Nice Label SE is poor. any design software that won't allow you to manipulate stacked objects is competely useless. put a picture on and then add lettering on top and the lettering may be on top or underneath where it can't be seen. What I figured is, it is a come-on to buy the more expensive upgrade. $595.00 which supposedly does let you fully design. somehow I think Primera gets a kickback. so let's get this straight. the product is supposedly ready to design and print labels right out of the box. the web site shows all kinds of beautiful labels. yet the provided software is pretty much worthless? I think other software will work ok with it. but not sure yet. This nicelabel is supposedly specifically designed to work with it. One label seller recommended Photoshop. but I haven't the time to learn that program and it is over $500 too. I did try printing with Microsoft word and seems to do just fine. each label is a page. so the software must be able to infinitely adust label size. Anyone out there have any experience with this printer? and what software you use? Need something in windows. Maybe it's time to bring my son's Mac in? I will give updates soon. thanks
