I bought a sony tv 15 years ago and it just wouldn't die. Was please to buy the 52 lcd xbr4 is great! I had anolog cable and was surprised I picked up 1080i directly from coaxil. Updated to digital cable for more cannels. HMDI cables,I bought two one expensive monster and one cheapo...can't tell a difference. Blue-ray from playstation3 awesome...can see dirt film on car windows in show...like being there..trouble free so far 9 mos. PS3 games are great display for kids. Heavy TV but with help of wife and 17 yr old son carried it up ok. The Zoom feature is a must have. Wish I had a wall to hang it on...using pedistal it comes with. Side speakers are enough for me, but good actions shows are better through my harmon sterio receiver and speakers. Still need to hook up computer to it and internet. It was my christmas present to myself and I did good. The family thinks I bought for them. the glass border is un-neccessary, but it does show better with it.
