I bought the older model, which has the larger base and channel selector w/LED's on the front. It's definately better than the smaller version that seems to have replaced it. I use it to send audio from my PC to my stereo pre-amp. Overall it works GREAT, very simple to install and reliable. It does lose a very little amount of audio quality but I'm a perfectionist and nobody else notices the difference...even when I mention it. The newer model, which has the same model #, is smaller and looks more modern but I found it very susceptable to interference from people walking between the antennas. It also introduced more hiss and had slightly lower frequency response than the older model that I kept. I returned the newer model and kept the older one, but keep in mind I'm a perfectionist and am feeding the audio into a high-end stereo pre-amp and amplifier where the difference becomes obvious. All-in-all, I am very happy with this setup!
