Just got this product and tried it over the weekend. First of all I am 5'9", and I feel I am too short for the vacuum/mulching adapter. When connected with the vacuum/mulching adapter, I had to keep my elbow high to barley raise the open end of the tube above the ground. After a day of work, my shoulder is very sore. Maybe people who are taller than me would be easier.I only used the vacuum/mulching function, so I can only comment on this part. The reason I choose this product is because of the metal impeller. My previous unit broke when the twig it sucked in broke the casing, so I thought metal impeller may help. It also does not grind the leaves as fine as my other unit, because only 1 in 3 impellers are teethed, while all impellers are teethed in Weedeater. Even though both units rate their compact ratio as 16 to 1, the Weedeater definitely compacts a lot more than Toro Ultra. I also like the snap-on, snap-off feature of its receiving bag.
