This is probably one of the best center chanel speakers on the market for half of the cost of some of the bigger names on the market. The 5 driver speaker is a good balance of clean crisp highs with very definitive midrange sounds as well. It beat the Bose V10 hands down wich is a very good speaker however it is very muddy with almost no highs. The Yamaha is a perfect balance for a center channel and is not to "tin-e" like some of the other slim line speakers I have tried. The NSc-225 also blows away its little brother the NSc-125 wich is only a 3 driver speaker. Great Job Yamaha you have perfected the slim line center channel speaker. For the price it can not be beat.
